Costume Day! Organize with binder checks! Remember to offer those struggling students a pass to the Organization Station during Tuesday's lunch- we'll get them the supplies they need and a chance to work with peers on organizing their binder.
Invite students to clean out backpacks as well, and if you haven't looked at a funny video for this month, do so with some extra time.
Pajama Day! Today begin reviewing what Thankfulness looks and sounds like. These videos and articles not only reveal the value of being thankful and practicing thankfulness, but also show the inherent benefits of expressing gratitude each day.
Twin Day! Continue the review of Thankfulness this month by reading an article from your grade's article page, or consider an activity, like a gratitude board, to help show what your class feels thankful for.
Career Day! Practice text-marking with the article from yesterday, or print a new one to read as a class. Use the new text-marking symbols to the right.
Formal Day! Today, assess what your class needs. Many students, if they have 5 punches for dressing up, will join the Baker party in the commons. Feel free to build some team spirit with the rest by playing a game and connecting, reviewing missing assignments before the weekend, watching a video on thankfulness, or discussing the week and goals for the next.
